Every Day I Get Closer to the Light From Which I Came is the fifth album by Jesu. The album was announced on 22 July 2013, and it was released on 23 September 2013. The album is meant to rely on a more sombre, darker mood compared to the last album Ascension, which relied on more shorter guitar led songs.
