"Hiroshima" is the first track on the 5th album of German singer Sandra, Paintings in Yellow , released on March 26, 1990. It was released as the first of four singles from the album on January 29, 1990. "Hiroshima" is a cover of Wishful Thinking's Hiroshima from 1970. Sandras former husband Michael Cretu produced this version in 1989, published by Virgin Records. The song entered the German charts on February 12, 1990 at #49, it reached its peak #4 on March 26, 1990 (Release-Date of the album) and stayed there for 3 weeks.
