"Here You Come Again" is a song by singer-songwriter Dolly Parton and written by Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil. It was released on September 26, 1977 as the lead single from Dolly's 19th solo album of the same name, the song was a rare example of a Dolly Parton hit that she did not write herself. The songwriting duo originally composed of Here You Come Again in 1975 as a potential comeback hit for Brenda Lee, but when Brenda decided not to record it, the song made its way to Dolly, who was looking for something to broaden her appeal.
