"Goliath" is the 5th track on The Mars Volta's fourth studio album, The Bedlam in Goliath. It was released as a 3-track single issued on a 12-inch LP and CD in Europe, including a remix of the song by El-P and a remix of Tourniquet Man as the B-sides. Goliath was evolved from Omar Rodriguez-Lopez's "Rapid Fire Tollbooth" from his album Se Dice Bisonte, No Bufalo. The band had previously performed this song live throughout their Amputechture tour from 2006-2007, resembling what would become Goliath with the lyrics of the original song.
