"Give Me A Try" is a song by British indie band The Wombats. It was the third single to be released from their third album "Glitterbug". The song premiered as Zane Lowe's Hottest Record in the World on Radio 1 on March 3, 2015. This exploration of romance with a LA girl in the digital age references "Vicodin on Sunday night." Frontman Matthew Murphy explained to NME: "Vicodin was used because the chorus was just too cheery. I was like, 'Let's shove something miserable in there.' Everyone loves downers in LA, it's very strange."
