"Girl on a Train" is the seventh track from Skizzy Mars' 2016 studio album "Alone Together". Idolator held a Q&A asking Mars "Is your song “Girl On A Train” autobiographical?" "You probably spent a lot of time pre-fame on the train system. The funny thing about that song is I was on the way to the studio at a session in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and I didn’t know what I was gonna write a song about. So I’m on the way to the session with some new producers and writers I hadn’t worked with yet
