'Ghosts' talks about the mysteries of a presence that one may not see, such as déjà vu, hearing voices, and ghosts, and although we cannot see these things physically, we acknowledge them possibly being around us and accept that “unknown” mystery. The song has a more uplifting tune compared to the other songs on the Post Traumatic album, which was accompanied with a silly and fun music video involving sock puppets by the name of Boris and Miss Oatmeal.
