It was written by Beyoncé, Kasseem ”Swizz Beatz” Dean, Sean Garrett, Makeba Riddick, Angela Beyince, and Solange Knowles, while the production was handled by Dean, Beyoncé and Garrett. “Get Me Bodied” was released as B'Day’s seventh US single on July 10th, 2007. The song is an R&B and bounce song with dancehall and reggae influences.
