Gardens and Landscapes. The first track written by The Generals. First recorded in 2005 for The Generals 'Trains' demo. It was then re-recorded in 2009 for The Generals self-titled full length. The song always had a waltz feel to it. However the original recording had drums and a pulsating bass all the way through the entire song. When re-recorded The Generals decided to ad more dynamic to the song by stripping down the intro to just piano and vocals.
