“Future” in a way it sounds as if it’s almost two different songs, turning entirely instrumental after about the 3:00 mark. The song came together almost by accident – Hayley had no idea it would become part of the record when they first started working on it, or even when they recorded it. In an interview with Artist Direct, she said: "That song is such a happy accident. I love that song! That’s something I was playing around with on my guitar right after Josh and Zach Farro had left the band.
