Originally coming to Sparks as a demo, she identified strongly with the song. During recording sessions for her debut album, she added in lyrics dedicated to her late grandmother. The song is Spark's way with coping with her grandmother's passing, by "freezing" the moment(s) she had with. As well as forgetting any negativity that was associated with her during her lifetime.
