“Fortnight” was first introduced on June 10, 2021, when Polo G went live on his Instagram to preview snippets of his third studio album Hall of Fame and other snippets soon to be released later on in his career. This song however, did not appear on the final cut of Hall of Fame, but later makes an appearance on Hall of Fame 2.0
