Forgiven was originally written by a "J.V." line up for Rain On The Parade. In late 1998 ROTP had changed their line up to include Jamie H. from Rancor on guitar. The song Forgiven was one of the first songs created under this new band line up. An interesting fact is that Justin P. (original guitar player) played all the drum tracks on this song as well as "Hey Champ". These 2 songs were originally recorded for the "1999 Supersoul Compilation Album".
