On October 24th, member Perrie Edwards posted snippets of the song in her Instagram story and revealed that Forget You Not is her boyfriend’s (soccer player Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain) favorite song of the album. A snippet of the song was posted to the band’s Instagram account on November 6, 2018. The snippet came from the pre-chorus.
