For No One was written by Paul McCartney and originally recorded by The Beatles for their album Revolver. It has been covered here by The Home Guard. This version keeps to the same basic structure and arrangement of the original, although much of the instrumentation differs more than you may think. For instance, a piano plays all the way through, whereas the original features a clavichord. A flute replaces the French horn for the solo, and mellotron, acoustic guitar, various percussion and backing vocal parts are all added.
