Therapayne is a 5 piece Groove/Death metal band from Johannesburg South, Gauteng, South Africa. The band was founded by Craig Nel, Ipeleng Molete and Scotford Cowell, soon after their respective bands had disbanded. The concept has always been to create a unique offering, a mixture of styles and influences driven by the individual members. The band has undergone several member changes since it was initially founded, but the spirit of "mix chemical A with chemical B and see what happens" has remained a constant.
