Fighting The Tide is a song written by British singer-songwriter, Kev Gray. He based on a real relationship where each person had totally opposite views on its purpose. It was written as a duet, with Kev Gray as the callous-sounding male stating it how it was; with Christy Strothers bringing in the female view in the last verse, before Arnie Baruch, plays out the track with some lively sax. The song is a blend of bossa-nova, musical and indie-pop.
