"Fever" is a song originally recorded by American R&B singer Little Willie John for his debut album, Fever (1956). Beyoncé first covered the song for the soundtrack of The Fighting Temptations in which she starred (2003). The song was also included in the set list of the singer's first headlining solo Dangerously in Love Tour. The song then appeared on the unofficial mixtape, Speak My Mind (2005). After releasing her first fragrance Heat, Beyoncé re-recorded her version of "Fever" as promotion for the fragrance
