In "Fancy Clown", MF DOOM performs as Viktor Vaughn, one of the many aliases and personalities he has, and makes a phone call to chew out a girl who’s cheated on him (with DOOM, ironically), with his usual excellent lyricism. The song’s title comes from a lyric of ZZ Hill’s “That Ain’t The Way You Make Love” which was sampled for this song. DOOM: Yeah I’m used to working like that so it wasn’t hard for me to work with him and the spontaneity.
