Sorrowseed is a melodic doom/black/death metal band from Massachusetts, formed in 2009. Their demo EP, “Portents”, was released in December 2009. Their debut album is scheduled for release in Winter 2010. Sorrowseed’s influences include: Opeth, Amorphis, Cradle of Filth, Theatre of Tragedy, Arch Enemy, and Despised Icon. "Fading Seas" is a melodic instrumental featured on the Reaping Willow disc.
