"Everybody Rise" is the first new music from Amy Shark within in two years. It was released on June 18th, 2020 through Wonderlick Records / Sony Music. The song was originally going to be released on June 5th but Amy decided to delay the release due to the riots/protests over the death of George Floyd who was an African American man killed by police during an arrest in Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 25th, 2020. Amy posted a message on her Instagram on June 3rd that read "There are very important issues going on in the world right now
