"Every Time" is a song recorded by American singer Janet Jackson for her sixth studio album The Velvet Rope. It was written and produced by Jackson and Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, with additional writing by René Elizondo Jr. The track was released as the record's sixth and final single in November 1998. The accompanying music video was filmed in the then-new Therme Vals spa in Vals, Graubünden, in the Swiss Alps, with direction by Matthew Rolston in association with Howard Schatz, an expert in underwater photography.
