"Even Deeper" is the eighth track on the Left disc of The Fragile. It is a relatively slow and atmospheric track. Its title and lyrics may or may not be related to "Deep." It shows a heavy trip-hop influence, probably through its uncredited interpolation of Like Herod (Hood remix) by Mogwai. Dr. Dre is credited in the liner notes for "mixing assistance". The collaboration came about because he and Trent Reznor crossed paths in a studio in Los Angeles, began talking about the sound that Dre achieves on his music, and this led to a friendship.
