"Eternal Flame" is a song by pop and rock band The Bangles released as the second single for their third studio album, Everything (1988) on January 23, 1989. The power-ballad was written by band member Susanna Hoffs with the established hit songwriting team of Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly. Davitt Sigerson produced it. It was a ballad, unlike the rest of the garage-band pop songs on their album Everything. Co-writer Billy Steinberg describes it as "The Beatles meet The Byrds".
