"Empire In My Mind" is a song by American rock band The Wallflowers from their 2002 album, Red Letter Days. The song was written by Jakob Dylan and originally penned as the main theme for the second and third seasons of the TV show The Guardian. Although not initially slated for the album, it ended up being included on Red Letter Days as a bonus track. Creator/exec producer David Hollander told Variety, "I wrote a fan letter to Jakob (and The Wallflowers) basically asking if they had any interest in writing a new theme song
