An anthem about a man with little or no life, clinging to an obsession with Emma Peel, the partner of one John Steed, who together comprise The Avengers, champions of all that is just in England in the 60s, foiling the plots of villians and evil-doers. Emma's bent for wearing black leather does not escape the amorous fantasies of the "narrator", who describes his joy of viewing the nightly reruns of the British TV hit in terms that would suggest he pleasures himself while viewing them.
