Elephant was written by Claire Fowler and Eric Faires in 2008. Claire wrote the lyrics for the song in the early morning hours on her Blackberry. She has been asked numerous times about the title. "Like elephants, fears can weigh you down", said Claire. When asked who is the pilot, Claire's response was "Whoever you want it to be! That is the great thing about this song - everybody can relate to it." The song was recorded in Dallas, Tx at Maxi Media Studio and mastered by Sterling Sound in NY.
