"El Dorado" is a song about one of Bryan's close friends, Garrett Brewster, a former U.S. Marine who had unfortunately passed away due to suicide in 2020 after returning home. The title of the song is a reference to the mythical city of gold, with Bryan asking his friend throughout the song if he ever made it there. Bryan also pronounces the name of the city in a seemingly unconventional way, however the pronunciation of it is typical of how one from El Dorado, Kansas would pronounce it.
