Early Morning Call was an instrumental piece on Corvus Stone II. Sean Filkins (Big Big Train) wanted to add vocals to that, when he heard it back in 2014. He went ahead and recorded them before it was even released but we decided it should remain an instrumental for that album. Instead, it would be released as a single in 2015. Then Phil Naro (Drukfarben, Julian Lennon, Brian May, DDrive) heard it and wanted to add a second vocal line. The combination of Sean and Phil is perfect and has transformed this song totally.
