"Early in the Morning" is a song written by British songwriters Mike Leander and Eddie Seago that was recorded by British band Vanity Fare and released as a single in June 1969. It became an international hit, peaking at number 8 on the UK Singles Chart and number 12 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and was awarded a gold disc for sales over one million.
