“DVD Menu” is the first track off of Phoebe Bridger’s sophomore album "Punisher". It serves as an introduction instrumental, setting the tone for the album. The instrumentals sound like the music you hear on a DVD player before you press play, hence the title. "It’s a reference to the last song on the record—a mirror of that melody at the very end. And it samples the last song of my first record — “You Missed My Heart” — the weird voice you can sort of hear.
