The first track off Enema of the State, “Dumpweed” is a classic song about staying in a relationship because you’re too afraid of what will happen if you’re on your own without this person. In the TV show Pursuit of Tone, Tom explains how he wrote the riffs to this song. In a program for one of Blink’s tours around the time of Enema’s release, Tom left a brief annotation for each track.
