“DUI” was first teased by Tecca in a Triller video that he made on April 23rd, 2019. A longer, half-snippet of the track was released on file sharing sites June 22nd, 2019. The song was originally titled “Winner”. The song is produced exclusively by Rambow despite misconceptions. Since first being previewed, the beat of the song was modified and sound effects were added. The track was finally released on Tecca’s debut mixtape, We Love You Tecca, on August 30th, 2019.
