"Walking With A Panther" opens with “Droppin Em”, one of several songs that Rolling Stone called ‘the de rigueur I’m-the-baddest stuff in which L.L. disses other rappers’. The track is built from a combination of The Meters songs “Groovy Lady” and “Doodle-Oop” peppered with the perennially-sampled Billy Squier track “The Big Beat”.
