“Drive To The Ocean” is Michael Stipe's second solo single. The track was released on January 4th, 2020, Stipe's 60th birthday. It was made available exclusively on MichaelStipe.com. The song was released as a fundraiser for Pathway to Paris, "a nonprofit organization dedicated to turning the Paris Agreement into reality through finding and offering innovative and ambitious solutions for combating global climate change." Stipe will be redirecting all of his profits for the first 365 days to the organization.
