Christopher Bingham wanted to write something sexy for people to dance to, with the idea that it might be part of a Moon ritual at a Pagan gathering, or music a coven might use., and play with the idea of each of us a Gods and Goddesses, the lovers as their own suns and moons. Using The Charge of the Goddess as the base for a chant, Bingham wanted to change the focus from the divine outside ourselves, to the wholly connected human on the inside.
