"Downpour" is the last song on the Parallel to Me demo. Additional guitar solos by Robert Leblanc. While preparing to play some songs with Valdy at Moncton's Capitol Theatre, Virginia got together with Valdy to trade songs. Virginia played "Let it Rain", and then Valdy declared a "rain" theme and played "One Good Rain". At a loss, Virginia had no songs to play. She later wrote this one for the show, so that she'd have a rain song. This song is about a very specific moment in Virginia's life.
