"Down by the Henry Moore" is a song written by Canadian artist Murray McLauchlan that references a Henry Moore sculpture in downtown Toronto that was (and perhaps still is) a popular meeting place. With mentions of several other Toronto landmarks (including Kensington Market, The Silver Dollar, and Nathan Phillips Square), the track was released as a single in 1975 (the fourth single from his album Sweeping the Spotlight Away) and reached number one on the RPM Country Tracks chart in Canada in August 1975.
