The song was also nominated for Best Rap Solo Performance at the Grammy Awards of 2006. Disco Inferno first rose into the top 10 of the Hot 100 on the chart dated January 8, 2005, it stayed in the lower half of the top 10, slowly rising as high at #7 for 3 weeks then rose to the top 5 on the chart week of February 19, 2005.
