"Die by the Drop" is the first single off of The Dead Weather's second album Sea of Cowards[1]. It was released on the March 30, 2010 in the United States and was released on the 25th April in the UK. The single includes the B-side "Old Mary". The song's music video was directed by Italian/Canadian photographer and director Floria Sigismondi, who previously helmed the White Stripes' Blue Orchid clip. She also directed the 2010 Kristen Stewart Runaways movie.
