Released a single on the 5th of February 1971 by Pye Records, ‘Diana’ released as a single alongside ‘In the lost queen’s eye’ and ‘Winter is a coloured bird’. They released 2 weeks prior to Comus’ debut album ‘First Utterance’ however ‘Diana’ became the only track to make it on the album as the opening track. The track was not received well by many in the folk scene around the time due to it’s heavy pagan influence and genre bending sound.
