"Diamant til kull" ("Diamond into Coal") is the third single from Kaizers Orchestra's sixth studio album, Violeta Violeta Volume I. It was hand-picked by Norwegian radio station P3 as a single from the album, as part of an agreement the band made when they insisted on making "Philemon Arthur & The Dung" the first radio single; the band have later admitted that its radio appeal was less than what P3 had hoped for. "Diamant til kull" is notably almost purely rock-driven, with the guitar being the most prevalent part of its instrumentation.
