This song's story takes place in a primitive world. In a closely knit desert tribe, a child is born with unnatural powers, being able to control and kill living things with his gaze. As he grows, he finds that he cannot willingly change what he is, and cannot normally become a part of a family that will not accept anything so strange. After being betrayed and cheated by the one he loves, he chooses to leave and travel the world, eventually entering an icy frozen land where he feels oddly at home.
