The Cuts came out of the Oakland, CA Punk and Art scenes with a sound that began in the 60s garage Punk style and developed, almost mirroring the actual music history of Rock and Roll going from raw and rough through melodic and historical up to raw and avant garde. Unlike alot of bands involved with any degree of Rock and Roll revival, the Cuts were considered dangerous people, true to the ethos of the music.
