"Dear Future Husband" is a doo-wop/pop song by singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor released as the third single of her debut studio album Title (2015), which first appeared on Trainor's EP of the same name (2014). The song was co-written with and produced by Kevin Kadish. Lyrically, it consists themes of chivalry and marriage, and lists qualities that Meghan requires in a romantic suitor. Kadish and Meghan wrote "Dear Future Husband" as the third track for Meghan's debut EP, the 1950s-influenced Title, which they created "just for fun".
