"Deadweight" is a single by Beck, created for the soundtrack "A Life Less Ordinary." The song was nominated for Best Song from a Movie at the 1998 MTV Movie Awards, but lost. The single also contained the B-sides "Erase the Sun" and "SA-5." The song also appeared on "Odelay Deluxe Edition." The music video depicts Beck working at a desk on a beach, and also Beck relaxing on a beach chair in a business office. It also contains actors from the film "A Life Less Ordinary."
