Originally entitled "Toursong" and written by Steven Wilson while touring material from The Sky Moves Sideways, this song began life as a fairly drab account of life on the road and its attendant boredoms. Richard Allen (Delerium Records): "Both myself and the rest of the band all objected the lyrics - it was a bit like 'came off stage, had a cup of tea, went to bed' - that's not rock 'n' roll! So he changed it to a comment about the business of being a musician and a product.
