"Dare to Be Stupid" is the titular track of Weird Al's third studio album. It is a style parody of the new wave band Devo. When asked about the song, Devo's Mark Mothersbaugh had this to say, "I was in shock. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever heard. He sort of re-sculpted that song into something else and... I hate him for it, basically."
