"Dare Me" is a 1985 song originally recorded by The Pointer Sisters on the RCA label. The song was the first release from the Pointers' platinum-selling Contact and became a worldwide hit. In the US, it narrowly missed the top ten of the U.S. charts, peaking at number eleven, number six on the soul singles chart and was number one, for one week, on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs. Overseas, "Dare Me" was also a top twenty of the U.K. singles chart, peaking at number seventeen, and the top ten in several other countries.
