"Daffodil Lament" is a song by the Irish band The Cranberries. It appears on their second album "No Need To Argue". Its subject is love and struggling with pain and rejection. The song was chosen by the fans as the best non-single song of the group and was released on Stars in 2002 : “Fans were also offered the opportunity to vote for their favourite “non” single for inclusion in this album and “Daffodil Lament” was by far the overall winner”.
